Solvay Group once again played an outstanding role to enhance the relationship of the Kingdom of Belgium and Thailand through sponsoring “Belgium, Berlin, and Bangkok” a classical concert in Thailand, after the Belgium and Thailand friendship celebration last November. Solvay Group collaborated with Thai Airways, the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Mahidol University, which joining to support the coordination among Belgium, Germany and Thailand.

“Belgium, Berlin, and Bangkok” is a perfect combination of members of the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic for a side by side performance of Mahler’s Symphony No. 7, the “Song of the Night”. American guest conductor Delta David Gier led this once-in-a-lifetime musical event! Featured soloist for this program is Belgium jazz and classical pianist and composer Jef Neve, who perform his own Piano Concerto No. 2. This program has the generous support of the Belgium Embassy, Thai Airways and Solvay S. A. The concert was taken place last month at Prince Mahidol Hall.
